You, Me, and Our Community
Croots Website Redesign
We will be redesigning the website this Winter for a Spring rerelease. We will be turning what is now known as croots.org to umd.croots.org so that we can start to accomodate our other chapter at NYU. They will get nyu.croots.org. www.croots.org will act as our organization's home page and help visitors know what we're about and what's going on at our different chapters.
If you have any interest in participating in the redesign, even if you just want to say what you think we need to include, please let me (David) know about it. djtansey AT croots.org

COMMUNITY ROOTS is fundamentally an activist based organization that works to unite the different ethnic communities at the University of Maryland to be heard as a united voice for change. Our goal is to motivate and inspire the ethnically diverse student body of the University of Maryland to take definitive action in the face of domestic and international social injustice. In our attempt to combat social injustice we are determined to create an environment in which people from different cultural backgrounds can foster true camaraderie.
We meet every Thursday in 1101 Tydings Hall at 6:00 pm. All are welcome.
